The Nano altimeter despite being so small is extremly well specified. With 400Hz logging you can see plenty of detail.
02
TrueFuse & TruePath
TrueFuse & TruePath filters repair pressure errors to give you the true rocket flight and velocity.
03
Zoom in
You can keep on zooming in with 400Hz data and see events in detail that lower logging rates miss. Learn more about your flights with ease.

TrueFuse 2F: Measuring the Port Instead of Trusting It
The third part of the altitude fusion filter behind AltimeterCloud. A port coefficient measured rather than assumed, a slew witness taught to look both ways, an ejection charge that reads the wrong way up, and the same law ported into two firmwares that could not be built more differently.

TrueFuse 2E: What Two Hundred Flights Taught Our Altimeter Fusion Filter
In August we explained why a barometer lies during a rocket flight and how TrueFuse 2C referees between it and the accelerometer. This is what happened next: two hundred and one real flights run through every candidate change, a new witness for the small ejection notches the old filter followed, a burnout stamp that has to earn belief, several ideas that did not survive the evidence, and a port to the Nano tested blind against the website to the millimetre.

Altimeter code: Page 1, introduction to DIY rocket altimeters
The Mercury V1 is the one altimeter we leave unlocked on purpose, so you can put your own code on it. Part one takes you from a bare Arduino IDE to a working barometric altimeter that prints pressure, temperature and height five times a second, and turns its LED blue when you lift it off the desk. No programming experience needed.

Setting up the Arduino IDE for ESP32-S2, S3 and C6
Getting the Arduino IDE talking to an ESP32 is more fiddly than it looks, and most of the trouble comes from a handful of board settings rather than the install itself. This guide covers the whole process for the S2, S3 and C6, including the ones that catch everybody out.

08 · INNOVATION

Small boards. Big ideas.

The filters, firmware and form factors that set our altimeters apart.
TRUEFUSE SENSOR FUSION

One clean trace from every sensor.

TrueFuse blends barometric and inertial data in real time, rejecting mach dip, pad wind and pressure spikes for an altitude trace you can trust.
TRUEPATH TRAJECTORY

See the whole flight path, not just the apogee.

TruePath rebuilds the full 3D trajectory from the IMU, so weathercocking, coning and arc-over show up as clearly as the altitude numbers.
1.35 GRAMS

Flight computers that fit where others cannot.

From the 1.35 g Nano V1 upward, every board carries full logging, WiFi upload and signed flight logs without claiming your payload bay.
09 · ACCESSORIES
Bolt-on capability.
Expansion boards, sensors and spares for your altimeters.
